So, we’re really busy at the moment, and I’m on some cool shit - hence the sincere lack of posting activity. Once everyone is back in the office, I might be able to post more. I’d love to, but as you can see, I’m posting at 00:32am. Pants.

It was bad, not for the hardcore gamer, because it showed a few things, but for the casual gamer, because there isn’t enough variety. Of course, Lips will prove popular, but ‘You’re in the moves’? If it’s a full priced game, I’ll eat my socks.

Still, nothing on Alan Wake, and nothing from next year? (Besides Square Enix). Tenner says Sony will show off renders, call it in-game and it’ll mostly be from next year.

So, for those that don’t know, I got engaged to Myra on Friday.

I’m so happy.

Firstly, you read the title correctly, which means I’m leaving Uncooked Media for the realms of the reasonably paid, as a friend recently put it. This means lots of different things, from paying £275.50 per month for a train ticket, to moving myself, the girlfriend and our guinea pig ‘Bailey’ down south. The landlord wouldn’t let us have cats – bastard!

That’s taken from my email to pr contacts, and strangely, it didn’t involve any self indulgent sentimentality. I am leaving, though, which is slightly more sad than I’d thought. It has been a pleasure to work with Simon, Ian, and previously Stu, and the good ship Gamer is in very good hands to continue to grow. Unfortunately, I can’t say where I’m going until next week, but I’m sure you’ll see me pop up on Facebook, or playing GTA IV on Monday evening.

This week sees a massive change in my life. Well, two in fact, so there’s going to be two pretty big updates later this week. The first one will be on Friday, and the second one will be on Sunday, and you’ll hear about both on my Facebook account too.

One won’t be a surprise, but the other one might be. I’m sad and happy about one of them, and the second one, I’m over the moon. Well, I will be. Cryptic eh?
